A stunning accessory to my on the go note taking. I cannot express enough how beautiful the leather is and the high quality finishes. This is a notebook you will want to get out and show off in public.
I've been using the Reporter Notebook for a little over a month now, and it's really useful for me. I also have a Mini 5-Ring Notebook from Meeplus, which I also love, but it's not as practical for me as the Reporter. I'm on the go all day and rarely have a surface to write on. The Reporter is perfect to hold in one hand for taking notes. With this ring position there is also much more space on the page for writing, which I appreciate. The leather has already molded perfectly to my hand.
What I've also really appreciated is the ability to carry a ballpoint pen and a fountain pen, one on each side. However, I missed the great pen holder from my Mini 5 Notebook, so I added three holes on the top so I can use it with the Reporter, and the closure strap is actually very comfortable for me in this direction.
At the moment, I'm using self-made refill pages, and it works well. I still hope there will be more refill options in the future.
As Meeplus states in the product description, these are not Kraus rings. I had a few issues with the rings and contacted Toby at Meeplus. I received a very quick response with help and was able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. Now everything works perfectly! If it hadn't worked, they would have sent me replacement rings. Great customer service!
So far, so good. Good quality, Perfect size. Great idea to orient the rings from the top (rather than the side). Love the loose-leaf rings. Basic design. A little pricey for what you get. Like the 50gsm paper, but needed grid or dot grit, so I DIY'ed some Tomeo Rive 52gsm dot grid paper (punched, holed and perferated) that works well. The caribiner for my Ystudio brass fountain pen fits in the rings, giving me quick access to a good pen. The band works well. The card holder takes up too much room. Greatly appreciate the customer service that allowed me to purchase the band and the card holder after I had already ordered and received my book. Suggestions: Lower the price of the book. Allow for the add-ons to be ordered separately. Offer a variety of paper styles. Your website is a little confusing, could use some work.
